On February 25-27, 2007 more than 500 high-achieving students and professionals from over 100 countries will once again convene in the United Arab Emirates in order to seek Innovative Solutions to Global Challenges.

Education Without Borders is a biennial international student conference creating networks across cultures in order to understand, and generate solutions for some of the world's greatest challenges.The world's most innovative students and leaders of business, technology, education, and the humanitarian sector in a collaborative forum that culminates with commitment to action.

 

Organized by students for students, EWB is one of the largest student-organized, humanitarian conference in the world. While they encourage attendees from any generation and background, Global Student  Organizing Committee ensures that the event remains focused on harnessing the energy and talent of the globe's young leaders for the greater good. camels across windswept deserts, connect with active global citizens, learn from inspiring expert speakers, and work collaboratively across all boundaries, we think all will agree that EWB 2007 promises to be an extraordinary and life-changing experience for all who attend.

The conference will take place at the Emirates Palace Hotel, Abu Dhabi.  Fourteen QUT students are about to make a difference on a global stage when they take part in the Education Without Borders conference in Abu Dhabi this month.

more than 800 high-achieving students from 100 countries. Conference highlights for the students will include a speech by Professor Muhammad Yunus - the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize Winner and "banker to the poor" who founded the Grameen Bank - and travelling into the desert for a concert under the stars by famed tenor Placido Domingo.
