AEI - International Education Network is the name under
which the Australian Government Department of Education,
Science and Training (DEST) works to develop and support the
Australian international education and training industry
through a wide range of activities, products and services.
AEI promotes the capability of Australian education, science
and training internationally. This international promotion
of capabilities supports sustained improvement in
Australia’s international competitiveness and provides other
social and economic advantages.

What is "Perth Education City"?
Perth Education City Inc. (PEC) is a non-profit organisation
owned by the majority of Western Australia's leading
educational institutions. The present PEC was established in
1996 but the organisation commenced in 1987 under the
umbrella of the Government of Western Australia.
PEC represents and
promotes Western Australia's internationally recognised
education sector. To achieve this, PEC carries out a wide
range of profile-raising and marketing activities throughout
the world. PEC co-operates with a number of overseas
representatives. Closer co-operation between PEC and
overseas
representatives
will now form one of the many elements of PEC's ongoing
strategies and will enhance ability to realise
objectives on behalf of Western Australia's universities,
colleges and schools.
