Diabetes is a growing concern globally and is an issue close
to our heart. With an increase of individuals with diabetes
estimated to double by 2030 (as stated in a study by the
World Health Organisation). It is an issue that needs to be
controlled, and through educating the public of the
necessity to screen for diabetes regularly as well as
changes to your lifestyle (including exercise and healthy

admissions and lengths of stay etc).
We are currently working with Dr Jasim Al Kashash, the
Managing Director of Inmaa Drug Stoor & Medical Equipments
in Abu Dhabi. Dr. Kashash has recently placed an order for
our Betachek Diabetes Test to launch into the UAE market.
With the assistance of Dr Jasim Al Kashash and his team we
have been working on Arabic and English translations for the
box artwork and insert to make our product more accessible
to all residents of the UAE.
Betachek Diabetes Test is a home use screening test. This
test has been designed for people that have not been
diagnosed with Diabetes and would like to check their blood
glucose levels in the privacy of their own home without
having to make time for a Doctor appointment. Fasting blood
glucose testing is the recommended way to test for diabetes
and since fasting is a requirement the best time to do the
test with little interruptions to your daily life is to take
it first thing in the morning before you have breakfast. So
unless you are able to organise an appointment first thing
in the morning, you will be unable to eat until you see your
Doctor, not too mention the cost and time of visiting your
local medical centre initially to perform the test and later
to obtain the results. Some medical centres take from 2 days
until 2 weeks to provide you with the results.
The test is simple to use and only takes 60 seconds. Each
kit contains two lancets, two testing strips and a colour
chart. With a large 26 colour chart and twin colour pads,
result interpretation is easy to read and offer precision
